Scott placed 3rd on the Bultaco in the vintage race and 1st in the heritage race on the Yamaha. Over several days, Terry enthusiastically modified Scott’s bike. They had to order shocks from South Carolina, Bultaco parts from New York, and plastics from Detroit. His experience and attention to detail rewarded the team at Gully Mor, when Terry and Scott decided to enter three weeks prior to the race. Terry started his apprenticeship at Art Williams’ Cycle, which was a Bultaco dealer in Tilsonburg, Ontario. He has been working in the trade for over 35 years. He has raced for many years in enduros, motocross, flat track, and road racing. Terry started riding when he was 12 years old and was in his first race when he was 15. We intend to race the Canadian CMX vintage race series which will entail six races. We will be racing a 1978 Yamaha YZ400 in the post vintage class and a 1973 Bultaco 250 Pursang in the vintage class with a back-up 1978 Yamaha YZ250. We have started this off by purchasing a new Legend trailer and gathering sponsors for the upcoming race season. Scott finished first on the YZ400 and third on his first ride on the 1973 Bultaco 250 Pursang.įor 2013, we have decided to start a vintage race team. He finished in the top 10 at the Walton TransCan on two-wheel motocross from 2005-2009, in the +40 class for the CMRC national event. Scott also had the opportunity to ride at the USHRA Monster Jam quad wars at the Rogers Centre. Scott has raced enduros and motocross in Southern Ontario, at the Pontiac Silverdome, and Unadilla, New York. Scott finished first back to back in 1999-2000, to maintain the title of CMRC ATV Provincial Champion in Ontario. He raced with several clubs such as CMA, CMRC, CMX, AHRMA, and AMA.
